The fourth edition of the Infrastructure Day organised by Natixis took place in November in Paris. This year, the Infrastructure Day had a greater international dimension. This major shift is a result of expansion of the infrastructure debt market for institutional investors, which is now a worldwide market.
The event focused on two main topics:
- A new regulatory context for infrastructure debt and the recent proposal from the European Commission for specific treatment of this asset class in Solvency II.
- Just a few days ahead of the COP 21, the role of infrastructure financing in the success of the energy transition.
